JGS Administrative Services

Director of Annual Giving, Speial Events and Volunteers (Full Time, 40 hours) 
JGS seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to manage and direct the organization's annual giving and volunteer initiatives.  Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy will work closely with the Director of Marketing/Public Relations, lay committees, and organizational leadership.  Candidates must have a strong background in the cultivation, stewardship and solicitation of donors; a proven track record as a manager of successful fundraising campaigns; significant proficiency with Raiser's Edge or similar Donor tracking software, have strong social media skills, be well organized and able to plan strategically.  Three years of related development experience required with a proven history of success in non-profit fundraising development.  Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with experience in health care preferred.  If interested, please call Susan Halpern, Vice President of Philanthropy at (413) 567-3949, ext. 1612.

Accounts Receivable Collections Manager
(Full Time, 40 hours) 
Responsible for maintaining timely Accounts Receivables collections, and keeping Accounts Receivable Aging at 20% > 90 days.  Resolves billing and collection issues on continuing basis and meets monthly collection goals.  Maintains good rapport with collections consulting company, ensuring all requested information is sent in a timely manner.  Minimum of three (3) years' experience in business office management, Medicare, Medicaid, Third Party Billing in healthcare.  Excellent knowledge of computer systems, applications, and office equipment.  MA health billing experience and proficiency with Excel required.

Jewish Nursing Home

Nurse Manager - RN (Full Time, Days)   $7,500 Sign-on Bonus
In pursuit of a leader interested in excellence.  We are an independent, not-for-profit, 200-bed facility providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation services with an opening for a nurse leader to lead multiple units.  Candidate will have supervisory experience, Medicare and MDS knowledge, excellent clinical/assessment skills, strong customer service/communication skills, minimum of 2 years of LTC experience, and knowledge of LTC/Federal regulations.  MA RN licensure required.

(Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem) $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full Time RN Positions Only
Staff Nurse positions available for licensed nurses with excellent clinical skills and a caring heart!  We offer a competitive wage and opportunities for advanced training.  MA licensure required.  Benefits for eligible positions include 3 weeks' vacation, 70% employer paid health/dental, company-nursing scholarship program, and more!

Certified Nursing Assistant (Full Time, Part Time, all shifts)   $1,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full Time 
Positions available for CNA's with excellent clinical skills and a caring heart!  Assist nursing staff with patients' personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living.  We offer a competitive wage and opportunities for advanced training (Clinical Ladder Program) and additional certifications including CPR.  MA Nursing Assistant Certification and High School Diploma or GED required.

PPS Coordinator 
(Full Time-40 hours)
Assesses, plans, organizes, directs and coordinates PPS/MDS assessments on the assigned units to ensure delivery of the highest quality healthcare in accordance with all laws, regulations and long-term care standards.  Understanding of HIPAA and Corporate Compliance, Risk Management and Patient Safety.  Graduate of a NLN approved school for professional nursing and have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Nurse in Massachusetts with two (2) years' experience as RN in a healthcare environment.  Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to post acute care.

Cook (Intermittent - 20 hours/week)
Flexible schedule including every other weekend.  Coordinating the overall preparation and service of meals.  Two years' experience required.  Experience in a health care setting, and basic knowledge of Orthodox Jewish Dietary Laws preferred.

Dietary Aide (Full Time and Per Diem)
Some kitchen experience preferred.  Includes week day evenings and weekend hours.

 Ruth's House Assisted Living 

Care Managers (Full Time & Part Time, with some weekend requirements)  
$1,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full Time
Responsibilities include direct care and assistance with activities and dining. MA CNA certification and High School Diploma or GED required.

Spectrum Home Health & Hospice Care 

RN Home Health (Full Time ~ 40 hours)
RN for certified, JC accredited home health agency with competitive compensation and flexible hours.  MA licensure required and home health care/hospice experience strongly desirable.

Home Health Aides (Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem)
Primarily in the Springfield-Longmeadow area, offering flexible schedules, a competitive hourly rate, mileage and travel time reimbursement.  Home Health or Hospice experience a plus.  MA CNA Certification and/or HHA training documentation required.  Reliable vehicle required. 

Medical Social Worker - Hospice (Full Time, 32 hours) 
Assists in the assessment and treatment of patients and in developing patient care plans, specifically examining the significant social and emotional factors as they relate to health problems, assuring the development of a comprehensive plan of care.  Ensures all services/programs are in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and works closely with patient/family.  Master's Degree required from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education with one (1) year of social work experience in a health care setting.  Driver's license, clean driving record, and available vehicle are required.

General Office Clerk (Full Time, 32 hours)
The General Office Clerk will perform administrative and office support activities in a friendly, efficient and organized manner for the department.  Duties include oversight of medical records, fielding telephone calls, filing, data entry, ordering supplies and faxing.  Ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong communication skills and be detail oriented.  If you are an organized, hardworking person with a "can do" attitude, you will enjoy a competitive salary within a supportive, team-oriented environment.  A high school diploma or GED is required with at least 1-3 years of office experience in a health care setting.  EMR experience a plus.

Wernick Adult Day Health

Clinical Coordinator "RN" (Full Time, 40 hours - no weekends!) 
MA RN license and strong computer skills required.  Experience in Adult Day Health a plus.  No nights, weekends or holidays!

Support Services

Grounds Maintenance (Intermittent - 16 hours/week; flexible schedule) 
Perform a variety of landscaping maintenance and snow removal duties (where applicable).  Regularly mow lawns, rake leaves, weed, plant flowers, plow snow, remove debris from property grounds, and overall ensure the campus is well-maintained as well as occasionally assist in maintenance emergency situations.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
