Assistant Director of Nursing ($10,000 Sign-On Bonus) Jewish Nursing Home
Exciting opportunity to join us as we transform our approach to care, moving away from a traditional model of care to a more person-centered and home-like small house model of care, which will include the construction of a state-of-the-art short-term care rehabilitation center.  The successful candidate for this key nurse management position will be a BSN with leadership/supervisory experience, excellent clinical and communication skills, at least 2 years of LTC experience, and knowledge of LTC/PPS/MDS regulations.  ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations through planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility.

Clinical Informatics Specialist (Full Time, 40 hrs. - Monday-Friday - 10am-6:30pm) Jewish Nursing Home
Orient and train new users on the EMR system and support the train-the-trainer team and super users to enhance their knowledge, skills and independence.  Provide IT support as it relates to EMR including troubleshooting and hands-on problem resolutions.  Work closely with EMR vendor to resolve issues and suggest system enhancements.  Maintain system build processes, and assist as needed with Quality Assurance activities and communicate issues to leadership.  Must have clinical and training experience, EMR knowledge, and be computer literate and proficient with windows based PC's and iPads.

MDS Coordinator (Full Time)
Successful candidate will be an RN with a minimum of two years' experience as a PPS/MDS Coordinator in a long term care setting; or an RN with at least two years' experience in case management in long term care, especially in a supervisory role.  Responsibilities will include the management of the MDS department, case manage the Medicare A residents, as well as coordinate required PPS assessments.  Must have knowledge and application of both OBRA and Medicare A skilled criteria, guidelines, regulations and be familiar with MDS 3.0.

Director of Social Services  Jewish Nursing Home
The Director of Social Services is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.  The Director plans, implements, directs, and evaluates all aspects of operations including supervision, support, and coaching of staff to ensure optimal customer service.  The Director will have a strong clinical background in social work, excellent communication, organizational, management, team-building, and people skills, and a record of successful leadership.  The ideal candidate will be MSW, and LICSW prepared with at least one year of supervisory experience and two years of healthcare and/or geriatric experience preferred.

Providing meaningful activity programs for adult day health participants.  Qualified candidate will have a basic understanding of the needs of the elderly and an empathetic approach with at least two years of experience working in a social or recreational program within the last five years, one of which was full-time in an activities program in a health care setting.  A valid driver's license is also required.

Dementia Program Coordinator  Jewish Nursing Home - Nursing Department
(Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM)
Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Activity programming on the Dementia units in accordance with current applicable federal and state regulations.  Monitor activities for recreation and therapeutic purposes to enhance the quality of life for all residents.  The successful candidate will be a high school graduate.  A degree is preferred, but not necessary.  Minimum of two years of experience and training in direct group activities required.

Laundry Aide/Housekeeping (Full Time, Monday-Friday with every other weekend) 
Experience working in a health care setting preferred.

Grounds Maintenance (16 hours; flexible schedule) 
Perform a variety of landscaping maintenance and snow removal duties (where applicable).  Regularly mow lawns, rake leaves, weed, plant flowers, plow snow, remove debris from property grounds, and overall ensure the campus is well-maintained as well as occasionally assist in maintenance emergency situations.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Maintenance Mechanic (Full Time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM) 

The successful candidate will have at least three years of general maintenance experience, including but not limited to grounds keeping, painting, and mechanical skills.  Must also be available for paid "on-call" rotation.

One day a week, 4-5 hours per day, either 3:00-8:00PM or 4:00-8:00PM, with one weekend a month from 8:30AM-7:30PM.  Flexibility to cover vacations or open shifts and switchboard experience preferred, but will train.

Intake Clerk (Per Diem) Spectrum Home Health & Hospice Care
Must be skilled in accurate and time-sensitive data entry with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.  A High School diploma (or equivalent), knowledge of medical terminology, and one year of experience in a computer-based office environment are preferred with strong organizational, time-management, and customer service skills.

Records Clerk (Full Time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday) Jewish Nursing Home
Maintain active and closed medical records in accordance with federal/state regulations and Joint Commission standards, as well as department policies.  Ability to type 35 words per minute, work independently and be computer literate and experienced with office machinery such as printers, scanners, fax machines, and copiers.  High School diploma and/or GED required.

Volunteer Coordinator (Full Time, 40 hours)
Manages volunteer resources to assist in the delivery and support of Jewish Lifecare programs including, but not limited to Resident Bingo and Activities, staffing the Coffee Shop and Gift Shop, Caring Friends Program, activities at Ruth's House Assisted Living, school and youth group programs, and resident mail delivery.  This position creates, plans, sets goals, directly recruits and manages volunteers, provides volunteer screenings, orientations, ensures compliance with regulations and required trainings, creates and executes volunteer communications and recognition program, and works with all Jewish Lifecare entities.
