RESIDENT SERVICE COORDINATOR PROGRAM
Genesis House residents have access to our Resident Service Coordinator program, which is managed by Spectrum Home Health Care, another program of Jewish Geriatric Services. A Resident Service Coordinator is based on the Harold Grinspoon Campus and works to ensure that all our residents take advantage of the full range of services that are available to them, including:
- Information regarding healthcare and other benefits, such as Social Security, Medicaid and meal and food stamp programs.
- Coordination of on-site and community-based health and support services, including medical care, homemaking and personal care services, and transportation.
- Help in obtaining assistive devices to support greater independence and comfort.
- Telemedicine - a health monitoring system that records residents' vital signs and electronically transmits them to a nurse at Spectrum Home Health Care for review and follow-up if needed
The Resident Service Coordinator program is just one more way that Genesis House remains committed to ensuring that our residents live independent, healthy lives in a caring and safe environment.
