Short-Term Rehabilitation Program

JNH has long been known for its superlative long-term resident care, providing its residents with the highest quality of life possible, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

JNH’s Short-Term Rehabilitation Program exemplifies this commitment, offering expert nursing care in specially-designed and equipped medical units. Our staff places a priority on every resident's adjustment to illness or injury and tailors their services to a patient’s individual needs. Patients’ families are also part of every comprehensive care plan, receiving support and counseling to make that adjustment as smooth as possible.

Our staff includes:
Physicians; Professional Nursing Staff ; Physical Therapists; Occupational Therapists; Speech-Language Pathologists; Social Workers; Recreational Therapists; and Consulting Specialists; Family Support; and Dietitians.

We admit individuals who may need complex medical/surgical services, IV therapy, comprehensive medical rehabilitation and respiratory therapy, along with those who have been hospitalized with neurological, oncological and orthopedic conditions.

These services are also offered to participants at JGS’ Wernick Adult Day Health Center.
