Brick Dedications
PAVING THE WAY - A Brick Recognition Program
At Jewish Geriatric Services, our vision includes pleasant sitting and activity areas, and lovely gardens connected by brick pathways. Through your generosity, you can be a part of that vision.
Distinguish yourself or a loved one with the purchase of a brick, and "Pave the Way" for a bright future for the programs and services we offer on the JGS campus. An engraved all-weather brick can be a permanent way to honor a loved one or dear friend, or commemorate a special occasion, as well as serve as a tangible expression of your support of JGS.
The generosity of donors makes it possible for us to strengthen services, expand programming and provide the best in care and living conditions for our community's elders. We will engrave a commemorative brick -- single or double -- with the wording of your choice and install it as part of our brick pathways.
Families of those honored, or the honoree, will receive notification of your special contribution, together with a beautiful certificate reflecting the language of dedication.
Annual Brick Dedication Ceremony Creates Feeling of Community:
JGS also holds an Annual Brick Dedication event each Fall. Donors and honorees are invited to a brief ceremony for the unveiling of the prior seasons’ new bricks. These ceremonies provide a lovely opportunity to gather together and reflect on the person so beautifully honored. A light reception is held after the ceremony. The dedications have been appreciated as a community building event by those who have attended.
